  • Was there any more carefree time in life than being 9 years old & watching cartoons on Saturday morning?

  • Very nice jingle...those were the days!

  • Talk about major warm and fuzzies. I remember this commercial well. I would hum it to myself for years and people wouldn't have a clue about this song.

  • Michael Eisner (formerly of Disney) was in charge of children's programming for Saturday morning for ABC back then.

  • @BlayzedBlue

    yup. sucks. . . .

  • @JP5466 Haha! I agree. I sure miss the old days (70's and 80's) of Saturday morning cartoons. Now every kid has a smart phone.

  • @modularhalfpipe Bless you for that comment. These kids are completely ZOMBIFIED by tech toys and digital stimulus. Skynet is taking over.

  • @hilarioph Curiosity Shop I doubt it has ever been released in any format. Lidsville you could look under Sid and Marty Krofft.

  • 40 years ago today I started Kindergarten. All these years later I still remember this promo (jingle, shows, etc). God, how the time flew by!

  • They REALLY don't make 'em like this anymore!

  • now they hardly have any shows on for Saturday's
