Some products really capture your imagination and this is one. The Robot Arm reminds us of the ones commonly found in car manufacturers all across the world and is a great gift for so many people, for so many reasons.
The wired control robot arm kit comes disassembled so it's an ideal way to learn about basic robotic technology. If you know anyone that wants to come up with next great invention then this would be a perfect way to get them started. It has five motors all controlled via the hand set which allows you amazing, precession movements.
It has a maximum lift weight of 100g, and opening gripper capable of grasping anything up to 1.7" in width, a 120 degree wrist pivot, a 300 degree elbow motion, a 180 degree base motion and a LED search light for night time operations.
The Robot Arm looks fantastic, is a great toy and a fun educational tool. It will definitely get people arguing over who has the next go!

  • dead fred

  • just got one that you plug into the usb port and programe it ..great fun building it ..great fun playing with it

  • @things343 the maximum weight recommended is written on the box ad it says 100 grams

  • impressive

  • I very nearly bought one of those kits, but I read a couple of reviews about the computer control interface and softwar upgrade. Apparently it doesn't "remember" the starting locations of the joints, meaning if you tell it to turn 25 degrees to the right, then 25 degrees left, due to inaccuracies, it either stops before or after its starting position.

It's a real shame because I defiinitely would buy one if the optional computer connection & software were better. :-/

  • cool

  • @abifshaka I have the same!! its cool cause u can progam it!

  • i made this and the soldering on the circuit board is not complete so it only goes one way

  • I think someone needs to put this on an rc car and put a camera and a laser on it, that would be the coolest toy ever.

  • Can this pick us a cup?
