Also, Barker fans, give it a rest. Honestly, learn a thing or two about the art before you start judging skill level. When you start spouting ignorant nonsense, it bugs everyone who actually has a clue. No doubt Travis Barker is a solid drummer, but he's a far cry from the greats. Simply comparing them is almost laughable. Look up some legends; Dennis Chambers, Tony Royster Jr,, Dave Weckl, Steve Gadd, and many more.

Haha.... Barker?!? I can't believe some cats would even compare the two...that is just funny...HAHA! I respect Barker don't get me wrong....but sorry he has NOTHING on Rich.
At least try to compare the great Buddy Rich to someone like Mike Clark or Jojo Mayer.

@beck0matto1vana If you are trying to say that Buddy Rich is better than all of those, I agree. If not, then I can only assume that you do not know talent or skill when it comes to drumming. And I am no Buddy Rich fanboy, personally my favourite drummer is Dave Weckl.

@Tod661 If there is someone that licks the but of the audience, that would be Buddy Rich. I seriously think that Buddy Rich sold his soul to the devil to becom a chopsy drummer, so he could make money on unmusical jazz listeners.

Seriously, guys, these comment wars about buddy rich and travis barker show up on EVERY SINGLE BUDDY RICH VIDEO... could we just learn to realize that they're both great drummers, however, buddy is probably, no, definitely more skilled (listen to a solo before you speak), and just leave it like that.? Go out in the real world and play some music yourself instead of fighting over some stupid video on YouTube.

Why oes som tool always have to bring up Travis Barker? He is nothing compared to Rich, Krupa, Roach - all true innovators and the best of their craft. Barker plays rock, the easiest form to play besides country. Cartr Beauford would eat Barker for dinner...and so would Peart and Portnoy.
