Good choice! Shotokan is considered to be one of the best styles of karate. That's good, I'm glad the Shotokan dojo you're going to doesn't charge you a lot. It's always best to take any style that you'll enjoy. I hope you enjoy Shotokan and good luck getting your black belt in the future!

Thank you I will take Shotokan I have seen how it is first hand and I like it plus they are the only dojo that doesn't charge $100.00 a month. Anyway thanks for the info.

No I don't dislike Shotokan. I wanted to try a new style after receiving my black belt. Shotokan is a good style of karate. I recommend it.

I am tying to decide which style to learn did you dislike Shotokan for any reason? If so which style would you recommend? I was trying to decide between Shotokan,Goju-Ryu,or Shito-Ryu. Have a nice day :)

Kyoshi Marquez is my new sensei. I just started learning Goju-Ryu and he is GREAT! I've been taking Shotokan Karate over 10 years and I've planned to learn another style whenever I had the chance. I love his training a lot.
