Friends of the Rail's South African Railways Class 19D Steam Locomotive #2650 "Cheugnette" built in 1939 by Friedrich Krupp of Essen Germany departing on a trip to Marula Mountain Resort north of Warmbaths. Video Recorded at: 25°35'50.20"S 28°13'26.70"E Pyramid South, Bon Accord Pretoria North, South Africa.

Look closely to see the mongoose running over the tracks 20 to 26 seconds into the video clip.

  • Does it still operate?

  • Hi Barend,

More footage like this would be great! Would have been nice to hear some beat of that 19D though!

    Regards

    Bryn
