  • This piece doesn't mention the first family of the house. My grandfather, Joseph Palma, built the house, and he and his children, including my mother, moved into it in 1930. They sold it to the Nortons in the 1950s. My grandfather was Italian American, and we think of him as the original godfather. He worked for Henry Ford, and her serve three terms as Borough President of Staten Island. I have vivid memories of the house, which he sold when I was a child.

  • WTF the news anchor is just banging the clips to each other

"Yeah so these are about 40-50 years old full of the behind the scenes for the godfather?" bang bang bang fucking idiot

  • @Frisneraugustin i looked into the past history of the house and it didn't say anything about joseph palma.... but if it dates back to the 30's its not gonna say that... it just shows from the 60's an up

  • @AriFansUnite her house? No she lives in a house where the movie was played for the first time.

  • The 40th anniversary? My God, That's next year! Imma start saving some money.

  • it's Obama's favorite movie because he's a thug from Chicago...lol!

  • @Frisneraugustin They don't make mention of it because quite frankly, it's not relevant.

  • dont believe anything you see on tv....its all fake.......lol....

  • His mother is voyeur, she filmed them hiding in bushes, trees and cupboards!

If you did that today, she'd be in jail!

  • this was pretty cool

  • damn this makes me want to watch it again!

  • why did you go to the police? why didn't you come and see me first?

  • @gaydanzig lol i know 100 percent agreed. life is crazy isnt it??

you can be a great parent bringing up your child. giving him/her EVERYTHING you can and love.

but they will glorify the other dads ( mobster dads) that do ALL WRONG to make their money...

    lol- life is nuts...

  • stop glorifying the mob. they steal from hard-working people.

  • @MyREDTAIL Or even better... resign now, take all of your commie friends and get the fuck out of our country.... that would would be a real constitutional victory!!!

  • @EndlessNot1 NOT IN YOU BEST DREAMS HA HA HA

  • That's funny because my Grandmother (Millie Previtera) Joseph Palma and I even remember buying several Fords from his dealership on Castleton Avenue and Rector St. Also remember him as Boro Pres. and even have an old brochure from the late 40's early 50's about S.I. with a forword by your Grandfather. Bob

  • Mr./Ms. Palma (Frisneraugustin above), what a Marvellous Home. It must have been something serious to have made Your Grandparents sell it. I am glad You added your comments here, it adds so much credence to the Movie knowing that indeed, a Italian American had built and owned/lived in the House that will forever be associated with the "Godfather" movie. These comments are left by a Canadian of Irish/Scot's background, but a big fan of the Movie, an an appreciator of fine 80 year old homes.

  • I would have kicked the shit out of that anchorman when he was playing around with the precious rolls. but of course, i suspect they were fakes and that the real ones were kept safe. Come on, why would the real rolls be brought to the new just to show the casing? It would be incredibly stupid to bring the real ones..

  • i guess thieves got dollar signs in their eyes when they heard about the filmrolls :P

  • 5:08 - I woulda punched that guy right in the face if he kept clanging such a pricey roll of film.

  • @319Josh2310

That was annoying the shit out of me. Hope they weren't in any sort of deteriorating condition.
