i2 Scan is a batch scanning and indexing application that makes scanning paper documents quick and easy.

List of features include: * Job set up based on document settings and business rules. * Job setup includes the ability to create fields on multiple pages of a document i.e. not just the first page. * Support for ISIS compliant scanners (which means superior speed and flexibility over TWAIN). * No pricing penalty for the scanner you use with i2 and there are attractive discounts for multiple licenses. * Watch folders to import PDF and TIF images (excellent for Multifunction devices). * Includes job separator sheets for automatically segmenting out documents. * Zonal OCR to read fixed defined areas on a document. * Key from image supported (the defined area will be zoomed in when processing a batch). * Lasso OCR tool to drag over a machine print area to populate an index field. * Pre index option to enter text that is common to all documents in a batch. * Create field pull down lists for fixed index value selection. * Use a common OCR zone on documents to detect document separation. * Barcode detection and optional use as a page separator (requires additional barcode module). * Batch creation allows the user to scan and then post index documents at a later time. * Import a CSV file as part of the indexing process for example part numbers, client codes etc. * CSV text file export of index data and image paths. * Output file formats include TIF, PDF, PDF/A and text searchable PDF. * Can specify to create batch output during CPU idle time - maximising staff productivity. * Meta data is embedded automatically into the image to allow for content searching.
