Priors - What you need

"What You Need", il primo singolo ufficiale dei Priors.

Priors sono una band francese formata nel 2007 dall'unione di Yann Destagnol & Romain Séo.
Yann, (in arte Yann Destal) che tutti meglio identificano come la voce del singolo "Lady" sotto lo pseudonimo Modjo, progetto che nell'estate del 2000 diede una svolta netta alla sua vita, rendendolo celebre nel mondo dove raggiunse in breve tempo la vetta di tutte le Charts. Nel 2001 usci l'omonimo album (Modjo - Modjo) e nel 2003 Destal decise di realizzare finalmente il suo primo ed acclamato album solista intitolato "The Great Blue Scar" pubblicato da Universal France.

Romain, (in arte Raw Man) da sempre stimato per le sue geniali produzioni pubblicate su labels di culto come Roulé, Crydamoure e We Roxk Music diede vita nel 1996 con l'amico Play Paul (fratello di Guy-Manel de Homem-Christo dei Daft Punk) al progetto di successo The Buffalo Bunch posizionadosi senza dubbio tra i produttori più interessanti del panorama house francese, appassionando da subito il folto pubblico degli amanti del French Touch tanto che negli anni a seguire remixarono artisti del calibro di Cassius, Phoenix, Bebel Gilberto, Audio Bullys e ovviamente Modjo.

Romain & Yann entrambi nati a Parigi si conobbero anni fa grazie a Tranchart, salda spalla ai tempi di Yann nel progetto Modjo ma anche grande amico di Sèo avendo frequentato per anni la stessa scuola di chitarra che diede ad entrambi la base per lo sviluppo del loro stile musicale e culturale.
