This is a three foot long catapult powered by twisted rope (torsion). I have completed the assembly procedure and the blueprints for this.
It is on my website at:

  • Could you use metal instead of wood to make this thing DEADLY! Not really, how about using extra wood planks along the bottom so that you can tension the string a bit more.

  • @nikulp68 sure, these are both great ideas!

  • You know what's unfair? Lady Gaga's Bad Romance has 350 million views, and your videos only have a couple hundred thousand :(

  • @koolmoedee95 Thanks! I will keep making the best videos I can. tell your friends! LOts more great projects coming but I am definitely not going to make a meat dress!! lol

  • you should wrap a layer of twine/rope (for cushion) around the impact points of the arm and beam.
