A little unrehearsed jam on my model AV before I lock it up and move out cross-country to LA. It'll be quite some time before I get to play it again. :( Hammonds aren't the most economical of instruments to move long distances!
Sorry it ends kind of abruptly, my camera card ran out mid-playing.
Shoutout to my friends Mark Herman and Donnie Rankin for some of the inspiration -I've got lots of practice yet!

  • Very nice demo! I'm becoming more and more appreciative of the classic Hammond sound. Thanks for keeping it alive with your great 'Jesse' style... and 'wow'...some fancy stuff at the end. Pretty good fingering! BTW, kudos to your photography and the great pic on the cover of Theatre Organ magazine. Nice pics on the article as well.

  • @steverabb Thanks steve!! That San Gabriel organ is a sweet little Wurly, indeed.

  • Nice little jam!

Hope you can visit again some day. We haven't seen you in forever.

  • @Maxxarcade It just occurred to me that I could have popped up your way while I was out in Indiana this summer. If I'm ever in the area, I'll be sure to let you know!

  • Nice organ. I also have an A with vibrato but it is not in as good of condition as yours is. Very nice playing. Gary

  • It's been a while. Great playing as usual!

  • Wonderful playing!

  • Wonderful Nathan! Lived in Hollywood for 5 years. My 'star' highlight ( even though it wasn't in LA) was attending George Lucas' 44th BD party held at Industrial Light & Magic. There were only maybe 20 of us there. We got to watch his surfing films on the sound stage projection room. My sister's good friend did the mat painting and showed us an ewok tree scene on glass w/ an opening for the projection of the film. Awesome! As a butcher I met Liberace, Bo Diddly & one of my hero's Tommy Iommi!

  • Hey cat. Welcome to LA. If you're ever playing anywhere I'd love to hear about it. Even better if you decide to work on organs let me know, because I've actually thought about sending mine away. Either that or I need to just buy one. Good luck on everything.

  • Nice jam video....thanks.

WOW what a change.... LA will be different ! Be sure to post when you can to let us know how things are going. Your talented and best of luck

  • Nice to see and hear a video from you again.

    Good luck out in LA!

Moving seems to be a part of life now-a-days.

My LAST move, so far, was from Seattle Wa to Raleigh NC.

I have lost count of how many times I have moved around.

    GOOD LUCK!

  • Good luck with your move.

Hope all works out in LA for you.
