Rep Scheme: 9-7-5: cleans @135lbs, chest to ground ring push-ups, shoulder to overhead @135lbs, pull-ups
My self-assessment of my performance during this WOD:
0:00-07:39 feet are too close together during the cleans and ground to overheads; at 00:52 this is very noticeable and affects my balance (another CrossFit athlete brought this to my attention)
01:37 my butterfly pull-up rhythm is lost; revert to normal kipping pull-ups, a couple are no repped for good reason
02:10-03:27 not remaining 'mentally tough' should not be resting with hands on knees so much between these reps, took way too long
04:00 Pick up the bar! Again with the narrow stance
05:23 More chalk? Really? I really think the set of 5 cleans should have been tap and go. I was tired, but could have summoned more...
07:24 Dropped the bar after 4th rep; should have just rested it in the rack if I couldn't complete all 5 unbroken.
My rank for this WOD was 32nd out of 44 (Overall rank was 28th) and exploited some technique issues that I will be addressing and I will also be incorporating more 'heavy METCON' work into my training plan.
Thanks to Kat for shooting the video and Jeremy for bringing the narrow stance to my attention.
