My first YouTube Vid, be gentle!!! My best friend Sean and I took the day off and drove up to Taos from Albuquerque on THE opening day for snowboarding. 4200+ people there and we rode up to the lifts most of the day! They say the lot, which holds 4800ish, fills up before the mountain. Taos is a very nice mountain and we will be going back next season! It was awesome to be a part of this epic event! I look forward to having the whole mountain to myself next season!

@Haxorzero Snowboarding isn't harder than skiing, it's kind easy actualy, so long as you stick with it past your first one or two days. I'm going to taos ski valley in a few days and I am SUPER PUMPED.

some of the best terrain in New Mexico hell no. how about THE BEST TERRAIN IN NEW MEXICO and thank god I am not forced to board in santa fe now

Snowboarding looks hella fun when you know what your doing. Is it harder than skiing? I imagine it is. -_- I went to Taos and skiied for my first time, i loved it, except that i sucked ass! Snowboarding looks so much funner. =)

ive snowboarded else where, but skiied in taos. that was a challenge. is snowboarding hard there?

I'd say it's intermediate terrain. If you can control your edges you should be fine boarding at Taos. If you want a good challenge in New Mexico goto Pajarito! It's STEEP and FAST! :)

Yo, Im a sponsored boarder and i was wondering if you saw the park because i went on the taos website and couldnt find pictures of it. if so then what kind of features are there.

Yeah there is some decent features at the Taos terrain park but no half pipe. Some rails and jumps. There is a 1/4 pipe that you can ride up then back down (at least there was last year-I believe it was in the video?). If you really want a good park you should check out Angel Fire. They have a park there that has it's own lift servicing ONLY the terrain park and have a half pipe (not a super pipe), table tops, steel rails, funboxes, they even had a short bus you could grind on the roof! ;)
