Welcome to MT Unlimited! The newest show from the people at TheMonsterBlog.com and Bite Me Production Studios. Shot in a "cinematic" style, MT Unlimited features the drivers, in their own words, telling you what it is like to race and maintain the most awesome race vehicles on Earth.

The inaugural episode of MT Unlimited comes to you from Rocky Mountain Raceways in West Valley City, UT. The "Maverik Clash of the Titans" event features an unique Figure-8 course set inside RMR's 3/8 mile oval. Refered to by the drivers as an "hourglass" shape, this track features ultra-tight turns and high-speed straights that are sure to send the spraks flying off the brake rotors. Twelve top trucks, including some of the top racers in the world converge on this event. If that weren't enough, the staff at RMR created an amazing freetyle layout with huge jumps. Plus, with the space a 3/8 mile oval provides, we are sure to see some wild donuts and long wheelies. Its gonna get wild!

  • Aw, for a moment I though he was gonna go 'round the oval's turns, like the ol' Louisville track. Why don't they do that again?

  • @JimPrower Its just one of the unique aspects of this event. This was the 14th year for this race, and it is just the track they use. It might be, along with the Monster Truck Challenge tracks, one of the ultimate driver's tracks in all of monster trucks. In comparing it to the old LMS, they are almost identical tracks...both 3/8th mile, both similar amounts of banking. The similarities are truly remarkable. it seems fitting that this track hosts this event, just with its own, unique twist.

  • @tmbmps I'll say what...after seeing the final rounds of both days, I've gotta say...May not be purely as fast as Louie, but that doesn't detract from any sort of excitement!

  • @JimPrower Could not agree any more. I have been shooting video for the blog since November 2007, and have only seen one other race that came as close to the excitement of the Saturday night finals. (For that race, check out the TMB-TV coverage of the2008 Monster Truck Challenge event from Nashville, TN. Mark Hall v. Carl Van Horn) I had goosebumps while filming.

  • RIP Nick Owens

  • @EJRocky monster jam is better for me, but i like watching this to

  • I don't hate Monster Jam... but compared to this, it just seems... meh.

This just seems so much more real and professional, because Monster Jam is "motorsports entertainment". This is more like a real, true racing event, not to mention this video is better (imo) than anything SPEED have ever done.

I don't hate Monster Jam, far from it, but after seeing this video it doesn't look quite as good. MJ has too much fame, and too much money... this video here is the real deal.

  • that prove you they hardly dont want to race for monster jam

  • Creten was on FIRE this whole show. Shows you "Monster Jam" really is set up. He is nothing like this there.

  • Just by watching King Krunch here, you get see how bad Monster Jam is a setup.

  • WOW! Creten vs. Runte has to be considered one of the best races in the last 5 - 10 years, maybe. Amazing control and incredible skill to stay that close to each other the entire way.
