Michael H. Coleman of Hanover Park (19), passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2011. He is survived by his parents, Robin and Patrick; his Aunt Karen of Batavia; his Aunt Linda and Uncle Stephen of Naperville; and cousins, Courtenay, Michelle and Tony, along with Jessica, Christopher and Karley.
Since age eight, he was on the swim team for the Dundee Dolphins and the Hanover Park Sailfish. He also played youth football for the Lake in the Hills/Algonquin Falcons at Jacobs High School and played for the Hanover Park Hurricanes for five years. In 2005, Michael was on the 130# Gold, winning Super Bowl team for the Hurricanes.
Michael attended Bartlett High School. He was on the swim team and football team and lettered in both sports all four years. He was in the graduating class of 2010. He was attending the College of DuPage, in pursuit of a parks and recreation degree. He was employed by the Hanover Park and Bartlett Park Districts, as a lifeguard. During the summer he also worked with Chicagoland Pool Management as a supervisor / lifeguard. Michael's passions were snowboarding, football and swimming and making music videos with his friends.
