My second guitar cover of Rise Against's "Prayer of the Refugee" from The Sufferer and the Witness. I decided to redo this cover with the rhythm guitar and less distortion on both guitars. I figured this song out by ear and I've already noticed parts in this video that are not played correctly. So I'm still trying to perfect it. My guitar is an Epiphone Les Paul Custom and I use a Marshall MG30FX amp. Edited with Sony Vegas Pro 8. WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY :D

Tuning: Half-Step Down, Eb (Standard flat)

  • don'worry to much about the playing, i play it the exact same way ! :P

  • @djmonize13 I don't worry about it. It's the way it's played live so if people have a problem with the way you and I play it... they can talk to the band about it :P

  • i like it better in drop d

  • @spartan3234

It's played and recorded in Standard, Half-Step

  • @TheNamesJER or up the neck a bit more in standard tuning

  • @revolt3d yeah but you can't play certain parts in standard because there are a few chords and such that require the tuning to be dropped a half step
