This is the rarest video available on web, where we can see Great Freedom fighter, leader of India Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose with his Adjutant Abid Hasan in action @ 3:10 . I salute them.

due to its wood cargo. All crew members survived.
g) 2:15 This sequence is out of logic. This is part of a reel showing indiannindependantists training and preparing with german instructors. Can only have been shot in Germany or France (where they were for a while)
h) 2:35 show a long and painful exchange of goods and food between the U-180 and the japanese I-29 to exchange goods (including 2 tons of gold) and passengers. The silouhette of the submarine does not match the massive

This is a well done assembly of private footage, german and japanese newsreel
a) up to 0:40 is cut from a newsreel shot during the U-180 trial period in the Baltic (Jan 43)
b) Yhe portayed man at 0:40 could be Werner Muesenberg early in his carrer. We will see him in action later.
c) The map at 0:52 shows the 1st mission of U-180 February 9th to july 3rd 1943
d) up to 1:27, awful sailing conditions in the south of Africa area are illustrated.

e) 1:27This portait of two sick-looking civilians is a gem. They are VIP passengers: Indian nationalist Sandra Bose (Right) and his secretary Habib Hassan, en route to Japan to raise an army and invade India. Yjis picture is unknown and unpublished as far as I know !
f: 1:52 June 3rd 1943 We have now navigated in the Indian Ocean. The 2nd ship to be sunk by U-180 comes in sight. It is a greek freighter of 5.000 tons, the BORIS. 3 torpedoes shot at 23 H20, 1 hit, ship kept afloat
