camaronut468 is right. There was no SS model badged as a 1973 camaro. GM stopped production of the SS because of the tightening federal regualtions. Meaning they would not have been building them in 1972 and then seling them as 1973 camaros. :-P

My 73 Sounded much different with it's stock exhaust than that one. O.o
It had a little more of a rumble to it, Could just be the video sound quality though, but I just swapped out the mufflers so it's much different now.

Hate to be the wet blanket... but Camaro guys know that Chevrolet didnt make the SS in 73. Do us all a favor, well... and the car and lose the glasspacks. The body looks solid though.

i dont have glass packs thats the stock muffler and my car is a 73 SS camaro, it was tecnicaly made in 72 but sold in 73 do to the big strike in 72, a real camaro guy would know that.

73 is a model year bro, half the 73 camaros were really made in 1972, and therefore were still available as an SS. the camaros that DIDNT come in SS were 1974 (model year) camaros. (which in REALITY were built in the first half of 1973) a real camaro guy would know that :)
