Artist Ben Hecht works the first layer of beeswax into an eight foot wave for a commission work. The process is laborious, but the end results are worth it.

  • Hi Ben, I've recent;y started working with encaustics and your videos have opened my mind to an even wider range of possibilites for this medium than I had imagined. Your work is remarkable, so beautiful! I hope to see it in person some day. Thanks for posting the time-lapse footage of your process.

  • The wawes you make are really really BEAUTIFUL... and I love they are so huge!! I wax paint too but am just an amateur...yet:-) Thanx for sharing!
