A tribute to our Mini Schnauzer - Asere (a.k.a. Ginger). This past August 4, 2008 we lost our beloved girl. She had congestive heart failure and the meds eventually made her kidneys fail. She gave us so much joy and unconditional love for almost 12 years. I am grateful for having this gentle soul in my life. She's our guru, she taught us to be patient, forgiving, to be kind with others and most of all to live in the moment. We miss her everyday.

@beachstarr howd Mollie take it when Ginger died cus i know dogs do react and know when they lost someone important.

I am in tears....We had two Schnauzers...Mickey & Beau, for 18 years and lost them over 9 years ago. To this day we miss them so very much....They were brothers at birth and part of of our family...Thanks for sharing your story with us.

That's a very sweet tribute to your sweet girl. I love the song in your tribute. Can you please tell me who that is? My Penelope passed on just a few days before Asere did - but Penelope wasn't even yet 7 years old. If you wish, you can see the tribute I made for her here on YouTube as well. I still miss her. Yes - you are very lucky. My other mini - Mollie will be 13 this month. I cherish every moment I have with her.

What an absolutely beautiful tribute to your furry girl. We lost our 11.5 year old furry wee man May 27th this year, our hearts go out to you in your time of loss.. we sure know how you feel, we miss him each and every day., what a nice tribute.
