Once again I decide to put my high voltage equipment to entertaining use...pickles, sausages and a few other objects experience a massive overvolt condition, leading to catastrophic failure. Objects receive 3.5kj of energy supplied at 1400v.

-Watch for smoke rings on the burning pickles! There are at least two very good ones, especially at 1 minute 15 seconds!!
-The segment where the camera pans up to the roof to show splatter is an induction launched pickle and sausage combo
-Notice the lag in the explosion sounds in slow-mo....this isn't an A/V sync issue...you are actually witnessing that sound waves travel slower than light!!

Other objects tested include a neon lamp, lithium battery, ethernet card, various small electronic parts, a PC speaker, piezo beeper and more!

R.I.P: During the making of this video, three SCRs, rated for a surge capacity of 11,000 amps, died a horrible death....we can only imagine how much current was surging through those objects!!

The discharge rig will soon undergo more upgrades, including SCRs rated at near half a million surge amps and a multiple time capacitance increase!!
