uff I have seen the movie! it is very sad and women are oppressed Alot here!SANGS (the bride name), her brother kills another boy and they must kill sang's brother, or sangs have to be given away as a prey to the brother of the boy who is murdered and he is married already, and has children!at the end and the movie sang kill her self because her husband,her mother-in and the second wife of her husband beat her a lot!

it's called Swarah. Because in the east, a woman's marriage is a tragedy. She's leaving her loving parents' home where she was raised all these years, perhaps even educated her, and she's entering a new family, venturing a new life. In many cases, this new family of hers is not related to her. No one ever knows how her new life will be, whether she will be welcomed & appreciated as a woman or battered & victimized like most other women of her culture.
