NEW DAY- David Garrett

DANIELA RIPETTI PACCHINI- NEW DAY- ( Lady Autumn and The Midnight Prince)- ( English description follows the Italian)*. Il video tratta dell'eterno rinnovarsi della vita naturale e umana in tutte le sue stagioni e nei suoi passaggi di morte e rinascita. Questo rinnovarsi è narrato attraverso la fantasia allegorica dell'incontro tra Lady Autumn (Signora dell'Autunno) ed il Principe di Mezzanotte (Il Signore degli inizi dei nuovi giorni e delle nuove notti e la prima persona incontrata da Lady Autumn all'inizio della stagione autunnale). Il testo della narrazione è tratto dal mio 'Libretto' " Canone enigmatico". Il brano "New day" con il suo suggestivo, ritmico fluire che si armonizza con il ritmo della mia storia, mi ha ispirata a creare questo video. La musica è composta e suonata dal violinista classico David Garrett (Encore).
Nell'elaborare la trama, mi erano inoltre presenti "Differenza e ripetizione " del filosofo Gilles Deleuze (sull'eterno ritorno del disuguale) e "L'impossibile" di Georges Bataille da cui cito liberamente la frase :"..Due dadi gettati in un campo di possibili..effimeri..."(1962,Les Edition de Minuit).

* The video deals with the eternal renewal of human and natural life in all its seasons and transformations of death and rebirth.
I tell this renewal using the allegorical fantasy of the meeting between Lady Autumn (the Lady of Autumn season) and the Midnight Prince (Master of the beginnings of the new days and new nights and the first person met by The Lady at the beginning of her season).
The text of the story is from my 'Libretto' "Enigmatic Canon".
The piece "New Day"- with its suggestive rhythmical flowing that matches the rhythm of the story, inspired me to create this video.
The music is composed and played by the classical violinist David Garrett (Encore).
In writing the story line I was also inspired by the book of the philosopher Gilles Deleuze "Difference and repetition" and by Georges Bataille's "The Impossible". At the end of my video I freely quote some words from "The Impossible": "..Two dice cast into a field of fleeting possibles...".(1962, Les Edition de Minuit).
The poem (included in the Prologue of the story):
'Lady Autumn farewell' - "..How can I speak to you../ how can I tell you../ you that dwell in the shadows../ your dark mask I recognize../ We have breathed the woods/ and danced to the music of dead leaves../ caught fire while dying../ Our hands are so pale../ but you have new days and new nights../ More and more seasons will plough the clods/ and our words will be snow/ will be dust../ Vast horizons of sky inebriated will delicacy../ have the strange thrill of unfinished things../ that never will die../ and never return../ D. The beauty of the poetry combined with the song made me think about the very fragile equilibrium of life that is the here and now…Past and future do not matter, as long as we are lost in the beauty of the present that you made possible…and though we might mourn the past, we are always grateful that there is a future. (...) è per me una scelta particolarmente azzeccata per accompagnare i versi da te scritti..Quei mondi surreali,assurdi forse, mi ricollegano paradossalmente alla realtà delle cose,a quei "dadi gettati su un campo di possibili...effimeri..". Per quanto riguarda Deleuze sarò sicuramente oggetto delle mie prossime letture,per quanto possa essere ardua l'impresa..Mi affascina molto..

Si muore,si rinasce per poi rimorire ancora..Dopo che si è morti tante volte è così colma di speranza la rinascita?

Il tuo bellissimo video mi ha ricordato la canzone "Inverno" di Fabrizio De Andrè:

"Ma tu che stai, perché rimani?

Un altro inverno tornerà domani

cadrà altra neve a consolare i campi

cadrà altra neve sui camposanti."

Come per la sua, la tua poesia viene percepita lentamente per poi sprigionare una forza di significato davvero struggente..

Autunno come summa di tutte le stagioni, nel suo tempo senza tempo, nel volto senza volto dei danzatori di Magritte, nel dissolversi che è anche eterno ritorno e ricrearsi... Ottima scelta della musica vibrante e ricca di attesa del violinista David Garrett!
