Actually, I liked the fact that Zelda was more of a dominant female rather than 'damsel in distress'. I HATE that, personally. Link's smart-assery is fine, so long as he can truly back it up with other valuable personality traits -- and not rely on a sole stupid catchphrase. Augh!

But their dynamic was okay -- it was just the writing that sucked. Get some better writers involved, and you could have something.
