Ah 2004. Let's look back to see that the last time the Leafs were in the playoffs, the bottom 3 were in this order: Pittsburgh, Washington, and Chicago. I know it hurts the what the Leafs are going through, but bottoming out is absolutely necessary to build a winner!!

There's no sense of leadership on this team, There's no chemistry and another thing is there's no defense. I'm not going to blame the coaching staff for this because they have put this team through practice after practice working on the same things and talked about this situation to death. These players must be stupid or something and need to be held accountable for their play.

Leafs have consistently got worse year by year. We're bottom feeders now...at least with Pat and Paul, we came close to a playoff spot...now, our season was over by the 2nd week of Oct. It's a disgrace. it makes me sick to my stomach to see NYI + TB in a playoff spot and the Leafs in 29th place!!! Wake me up from this nightmare!!!!
Burkie better reload players come July 1st...we have ton of players out of contract and about 20m in space. Howard Burger states that the honeymoon is over!

Ohh Howard - there are many days when I would like to take his place.
I agree - I don't like seeing Tampa and the Isles ahead of our Leafs, but I don't want to think that the season is over just yet.

Keep in mind, the Isles and Bolts have also been bad for a while now. Bottom feeders in fact. That's what you have to do to get better. Look at the Caps, Hawks, and Pens. They were horrible for a while then got younger and better. Also there are 11 UFA, and I can assure you many of which will be dealt by the deadline or let go all together. As hard as it is to believe, there is a plan for the future.

Let's remember the last time the Leafs made it to the playoffs, Tampa won the Stanley Cup. Since then the Pens have taken it home, and the Hawks have been to the Conference Finals.... siiigghh
