great work man! i would have never thought to use magnetic tape as a resistor.

Dang man....some of those noises you made with help from the magnetic tape made me think of some of those classic 8-Bit games.

@Emerl19 yeah excitebike!

fantastic job with the pad, you gotta teach bout that, i can teach you the theory of sequential bending... unless you knot that too... in which case i must beg.

great video, do you think the magnetic tape would work replacing the keyboard on a yamaha pss 480, its got great FM sounds but it broke so i'm gonna bend it from the book by Reed Ghazala. thanks if you can help!

hahahaha... "see you later." at the end...
NICE!!! I'm sorta potentially getting interested in circuit bending... I have a casio SA-20 that I'd like to maybe bend a little bit... any suggestions? or should I start with something else?

Hello. Nice work. Do you know where we can get more info about using magnetic tape as a resistor? Thank you!

Thanks! Originally I saw the tape idea on the "synthstick" page. I think Nic Collins also mentioned it in his "hardware hacking" book. Some V.H.S. tape works but most doesn't. Cheaper the better (instructional videos and such seem to be best).

Thanks all! I usually spend days or weeks on my devices. It's amazing what you can get done working with a deadline. I can't wait to do something like this again!
