This cartoon was designed to make fun of extreme American nationalism, we laugh because its absurd that anyone would act the way the father does. Its a comedy, and they make fun of many different cultures and all kinds of people.

Persians always being compared to Arabs. They're not extremist nor do they blow themselves up. However the government of Iran is controlled by extremist who are outsiders because the middle east wants to be one so they have taken control (for now). 99% of people of Iranians have different mentality such as myself. Also most Persians are light, there are some dark Persians but sum up only 10%. Educate yourself people and don't laugh at jokes as such..they can soon turn ugly if you ignore them.
