  • Potatoes are native to the americas

  • Mexican food is a Mix of Native Indegenious people. Spain & the french.The native's Aztec & Mayans cultivated Corn,Chiles,Avocado's,Tomatoe'­s,Mango's.Jamica,Beans etc.The Spainard influence is Rice,Meats,Pork,Garlic,etc.The french influence is more on the Pastries, cheese,Breads like pan dulce, sauces the elegance and blending of the food The presentation on the plate as far as makeing the food look pretty.
