  • hey man would a 98 celica 3sfe b a strate swap for this engine ?? does ne one know?

  • yea that would be the left motor mount since there isnt one on the front of that motor....true it is an S block but im talking about swaping it in a 4th gen celica

  • You may need one custom motor mount, if that I believe. It is still an S block, and I would think that it would still bolt up.

  • i think so too since it has the same pattern as my 3sge tranny bell housing only problem is to get custom motor mounts...and that can cost alot

  • I believe it does.

  • would the altezza beams 3sge be able to swap in fwd?

  • where did you get that exhaust manifold? brand?

  • xai1721

Did you mean tranny? If so the original tranny will bolt up to the 3sgte using the flywheel and pressure plate from the 3sgte and using the clutch disc and t.o. bearing for the 5sfe. You can however use the MR2's tranny it just takes a lot of custom fabrication. I've heard that the Camry V6's tranny which is the same as the mr2's (fits easier less modding)e153 will work and is a stronger transaxle for the swap. BTW I had a 94 Celica GT with 3rd gen 3sgte using the stock tranny.

  • what kind of training did you us for the 3sgt???
