@Lukeschedel Well, it's bore is the diameter of a golf ball so maybe that will help give you an idea of the size of this mortar. I'd guess about 3/4 the size of a shoe box..

This kid has obviously got himself a copy of the Anarchist's Cookbook coupled with no experience in chemistry. The burn rate of flash powder is far too great for the tensile threshold of the metals used in cannons. Basically, you'll have made a large, cannon-shaped grenade.
