This is a 64-bit version of the DeSmuME emulator for Mac OSX 10.6+. It runs games up to twice as fast as the 32-bit version available at the DeSmuME website. It was running slower than usual in this video because of screen recording software.
**This build will not work on Macs with OSX 10.5 or earlier because they cannot run 64-bit applications.

You can download it here:
v1.0 http://www.mediafire.com/?uoyffy03vz0p3k9
v1.1 http://www.mediafire.com/?4m4ahkyh56a3scv
v1.2 http://www.mediafire.com/?u8vnb181e5yxiuy
v1.3 http://www.mediafire.com/?x0h1j981sbb4fdk

Please read below for instructions on how to use:
1. Unzip desmume-cli.zip.
2. Move the desmume-cli application to your Applications folder.
3. Right click on the .nds file you wish to open with DeSmuMe. Select "Open With" and then "Other". Find the desmume-cli application and enable "All Applications". You can also select "Always Open With" to launch desmume-cli automatically when you double click a .nds file in the future. Select desmume-cli and click "Open".

The desmume-cli application will automatically use any previous save data and configurations from desmume.

Please note that the desmume-cli application will fail to launch if you try to open it directly. Please follow these directions exactly.

  • desmume-cli.zip. force closes when I try to open it, help!

  • Can someone tell me where all the sav data is

  • HELP im trynna delete my old save file of pokemon white and the Right Shift button IS NOT the select button.. i know to delete an old save file is to press either UP+Select+B or Down+Select+B and neither of these work.. ive tried everything and even looking it up. i can't find the proper Select button -_____-

  • how do you mute the sound?

  • @neesay16y Hmm, strange. I followed the 'tutorial' and it worked. Go to the folder where the .nds file is, right-click it, go to 'Get Info', then 'Open with', select the desmume-cli application and you're done. Then, just double click the .nds file.

    Hope that helps.

  • if you put in the AR codes for no$gba, it runs hella faster than this; unfortunately, you can only get wifi in this one though :/

  • @neesay16y are you on 10.5 or earlier? Because that only supports 32-bit, not 64-bit.

  • the microphone does't work any ideas??

  • keeps telling me it quit unexpectedly

  • can you change the controls on it?
