A simple POV LED display that I constructed as part of my Carnegie Mellon MHCI coursework. Features character display and vertical scrolling. This version has a little bug in it where the display is not 100% synchronized to hand movement so you'll see the text floating a bit left and right and a bit mirrored, but it should still be fairly legible.

  • hey danielpotter... in the end, I just measured how fast my hand moves and used timings, and you see it's still a bit out of sync. I use a tilt switch to start the sequence, but it wasn't reliable for me as a trigger to signal beginning/end of hand motions during the sequence.

  • hi...how did you manage to synchronize it in the end? Acceleration-sensor or what?

    Thx for explanation
