A quick interview with Rahul Sood, CTO of HP's Voodoo Business Unit and founder of VoodooPC, on today's announcements of two new products in the HP Voodoo portfolio -- the Voodoo Omen high-performance desktop and the Voodoo Envy 133 ultra-mobile notebook.

He also discusses the "HP with Voodoo DNA" brand, the future of Blackbird 002, and more.

Filmed immediately after Rahul went on stage at the HP Connecting Your World event in Berlin.

  • I forgot to add that when I did get the laptop back from repair it was extremely slow. Found out that the way they tried to address my issue was by severely underclocking my processor. So in other words they kept it for over a month to do something in BIOS that I could have done in a matter of seconds and still did not fix the problems. Thanks Voodoo. I have an idea for a new name for your company...Voodont. That seems more fitting.

  • THis thing is going to start at $7,000, most of the price is the case, not the specs. I think I'd rather get a faster PC that rather than a weaker PC that's just stays at a cooler temp.

  • good work.... hp killed them.

  • awesome how HP invested in you guys! uhh what are you guys making now? wait nothing....

  • make your own pcs!!!!! so much cheaper and better

  • I would love to see a voodoo server with small business server 7 and hp ILO available at tigerdirect canada and us

  • Alien ware- Fuck Voodont lol- Alien Ware is perfect.. why wast time on this crap-

  • In reality, the ViodooDNA and the Envy apparently failed, the Omen never launched, and now HP seems to be killing Voodoo altogether.

  • Voodoo PC is dead. HP acquired them and killed them. When they were independent they had a wide variety of cool computers like the Omen, the fanless Eden, the micro sized doll, the mid range Fury, etc. Now they've been reduced to the firebird and envy which are no longer even for sale.

  • that is not a steal! i mean for the voodoo it's a great price, but for a 13.5 inch notebook? ouch

  • yeah it did

but now their is the firebird I think it is called

i would get the voodoo but hp high end products suck
