  • I have the 18t and the rocks only affects at high speeds. One thing I dont understand, was this car designed for rally? what type of rally field? because the ground clearance is too small.

  • It was something I did FOR FUN because I can, no other reason, not for a rally field (guess your name for a rally course) and no it wasnt "designed" for rally, I modded an RC18R for offroad. And watch the vids, doesnt seem to have a ground clearance issue except I am on a 8th Nitro track that was closed for the season so no maint. done on it in 3 months. I got 20yrs of rc experience behind me and I like to just do interesting things for the hell of it.

  • Cool. But why dont you go for some Dirt Hawgs and 18T shocks and be done? I think it would be a killer jumper if you gould get the power down.... Nice vid tho. I agree, these cars arent good on loose surfaces. Wheelbase is too short and they just spin out. I have the 18MT all modded. Cool music in this vid, I dont like the other vids song though. Good job matey.

  • I was being different, thats why, lol. Dirt hawgs woudlnt fit under the wheel wells and 18T shocks and all that would have thrown the look off.

  • emm, its a great video but FYI: RC18R stand for RC18 Rally, just like the "T" stand for "Truck" "B" stands for buggy "MT" stands for monster truck, so no real "conversion" here, just the rims/tires, some body mods, bigger shocks

  • what's the extras that you put on your car?? (if you can say to me)

    Awesome video!!

  • Hi I was wondering what you did for this conversion? That's pretty sweet! I'd like to do the same to mine, thanks! Mike

  • Help please.

my 18r performs better without the body.

is that normal?? like it's more stable, turns better, and tracks better without the body. I ve cut the wheel opening bigger already but it still performs better without the body. is there anything i should check or do becuase id like it to perform just as well with the body

    thanks

  • thats awesome...now find a track that is 1 foot wide, rally scale would be 6 inches wide lol, about one car width.

    Thanks for posting!

  • Cool. Yeah it jumps ok and looks diff for sure. Good build matey.
