Work in Progress of Kyogre flippers

Pinning and sewing the red ribbon onto the fabric was a PAIN! At least I succeed and I love how the completed flipper look!

For my upcoming costume, Kyogre, which I hope will make its debut at A-Kon in 2010!

  • what material did you use to cover it all

  • @SpeedtigerDirector I used costume satin, which I don't recommend, as pretty and shiny as it is, it doesn't stretch at all and the edges frays really easily.

  • Looks totally awesome : ) Is the suit ready yet?

  • @nezukiba Not yet, I'll be going up to hang out with Riley this weekend so we can work some more on the costume.

However the head and the fins are done!
