Zeeland Bridge

Aerial footage of the Zeeland Bridge in the Netherlands. Built between 1963 and 1965, it has a total length of 5022 metres, making it the longest bridge in the Netherlands. While not actually part of the Delta Works, it spans the Oosterschelde estuary and connects the islands of North Beveland and Schouwen Duiveland. A 40 metre section of the bridge can be raised to make way for tall shipping traffic. The construction of the bridge was paid for by the province of Zeeland. IK woon daar vlakbij en dat is wel leuk om over te rijden! het ziet er ook mooi uit maar om nou te zeggen dat het echt bijzonder is om er over heen te rijden is niet waar!
