@kvanoort She's got alot of potential my friend, please dont give up on her! I too started restoring a vw dune buggy a few years back and have often times lost hope but now that its done i really realized that it was all worth it. :) more power to you and please keep us posted.

Does a 356 become an outlaw when you take off the bumpers? Do you need need bars? I might have been outlaw when outlaw wasn't cool (69-73).

@camaron2one7 What sucks is that in order to get your ride done is that you have to have some REALLY sad story.....Like you overcame a terminal illness and your wife is now ill,the house was taken out by a meteor and the barn were your car was burned down but it survived bc your dog "Lucky" woke you up. 2 weeks later your kid fell into a hole and was missing for a few days and when found on the way to the hospital you got a call from the vet and your dog has Lou Gehrig's Disease and dies....

I submitted my truck. A 98 Mazda B2500, but after seeing that, yeah the Porche can have my spot. I would love to see the restoration of it. I think it deserves it.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I resist the temptation to give up and just sell the car on a daily basis but my two daughters won't let me.

SpikeTV Power Block, Search and Restore application: "Defining Fate." From the road, the only thing visible was the right front turn signal. In that split second of driving through Lake City, that little car called out to me from under a pile of rubbish saying… save me. My goal for the car is to continue with the original plan to build a Porsche 356 Outlaw and complete the dream that was started back in 1975. I need the help of the new TV show "Search & Restore" to complete the build project.
