  • Personally, I'm waiting for the token heterosexual best friend who exists solely for the purpose of making the lives of gay men easier, comfortable, and more enjoyable. Oh yeah, and for comic relief. There is nothing like seeing a heterosexual act like a clown just to brighten up my gay day!

  • That's true, some women think I'd make a good best friend just because I'm gay.

    I'm a super-antisocial geek.

Shoes and dresses are generally not an interesting topic to me, unless you can make them project 3D images or something.

  • To be fair: Ugly Betty is entirely about fashion.

  • Let's be honest. Ugly Betty was awesome.

  • I feel like the gay best friend character is a socially acceptable way for men to take responsibility of the women in their lives. It's like the mentality is that it's not chauvinist anymore because he's not controlling her sexual behavior, he's just controlling her clothes and hair. But now you have a two-dimensional sidekick character that's just perpetuating stereotypes about gay men as well as contributing to the portrayal of helpless women.

  • @TreblePop Oh come off it, that's every fag hag ever.

  • Get a boner for a bitch.

  • lmao! gays are wizards! XD

  • I'm gay, I hate shopping. Still, I wanna be someones GBF.

  • That. Is. Ridiculous. :l SERIOUSLY people... seriously

  • Must say, I'm lesbian, and I've screwed a couple of guys before I came out, not going to lie. Did I like it? Not really, but I do believe that even Dan Savage has said that there's always that one person from either same or opposite that makes you go, "DAMN!! I'd hit that!" It doesn't mean you are now straight or that you aren't gay, but it does happen! I wouldn't do it again unless it was Johnny Depp or Doctor Who's David Tennant or Matt Smith, possibly Sacha Dhawan, but really that's it!

  • I recommend you guys look up the Youtube series "Disappointing Gay Best Friend"

It's a hilarious series that pokes fun at the women or "Fag Hags" depicted in this video!
