I really miss it too bad they shut her down, because of Viequez, and life in the civilian world is sooo different not one NEX even close to houston, utter crap. Well c'ya I don't if you knew my dad but it sure seemed like everyone knew him. GM1 Farrell AKA Tango

  • @coolnick52 lolz awesome beach yea?

  • @papilow202 OMG we used to go to that beach in 1997!!!! I remeber the cliffs those big crabs on the cliffs and those damn big masquitos,, thank you for uploading this video

  • Thanks for the memories. I was stationed there in 1974-76 and it was generally considered the best duty station on the east coast. They called it a dream-station. I worked in fuels on the runway refueling the A-4's of VC-8 and transient aircraft. My division had a pig roast every month on that same beach. Always had plenty of dates because the women weren't assigned to ships at the time and that base had 6 women for evey guy there. Heaven on earth.

    Thanks for the memories friend...

  • Wow, I haven't seen all hands beach in 35 years. I was stationed there in 74-76 and it was generally considered the best duty on the east coast. The base itself was gorgeous. I was in fuels and worked on the runway refueing the base birds (VC-8) and tons of transient aircraft. Also, the women weren't assigned to ships at the time so there were thousands of women, and relatively few guys. My division roasted a pig on that beach nearly every Sunday. Thanks for the memories.
