@stephenterill Not sure if that really happened or not...? Sure, it's possible... I won't say those things never happened, but I'm sure it wasn't the norm, as it was for the Japanese... Just FYI... Allied POW's had the lowest survival rate, approximately only 30% would survive after being captured by the Japanese... They made the Germans look like"little lord fauntleroy." If captured by the Germans, they had about a 75-80% chance of making it to the end of the war, and their release...
@stephenterill yes, the German submarine force was, same as all German armed forces an honorable fighting force, despite the hollywood movies suggesting otherwise.
wow - I just saw a vid in which US submariners shot shipwrecked japanese. not even the germans did that to our people. in fact sometimes they took some of em aboard
