That is one of the best Inkscape tutorials I have seen. Your step by step instructions taught me a lot more than just how to make the splash effect. I will be referencing this video for other drawings. I hope you can do more. Thanks so much.

@biomagx thanks, if I get time I'll post more. That's the beauty of Inkscape, once you learn one technique, you can apply it to many things.

Huh, so it's the filters that create the edges effect! Good to know that, I'll explore the filters the next time I'm on InkScape.
