Excellent points. I'd love to hear from some Ron Paul haters about their favorite candidate's ideas.

Why don't you ask Sean Hannity about how the Ron Paul supporters viewed Sean's "independent thought". After all the Ron Paul supporters chased after him for about a block trying to intimate him.

Come.... Come drink the Kool-Aid.

Ron Paul's followers are cult like? Lol Ron Paul and not Obama's followers? hahaha people follow Ron Paul so that they will have liberty and individual freedoms. People follow Obama so they can get the government to give them "free" healthcare, and anything else they can get. Hmmm...it's Obama that the kool-aid mixer.... not Ron Paul

Ron Paul is the best. Most consistent politician I've ever seen. He has made some amazing predictions, and they came true. Most anyway, and I'm sure his new predictions are going to come true as well
Look at what Ron Paul has said through out the past 30 years. He is conservative, and liberal by today's standards. But, 30 years ago, he would be considered purely conservative.
He is for the people's right to choose, and he's for a small government, and free trade in addition to non-intervention

Paul supporters aren't exactly the critical, independent thinkers they claim to be. Paul's a typical politician & knows how to manipulate people by pandering to their most wayward desires, especially drugs and the Iraq war. I'm a christian conservative and in many things Paul and I actually agree, such as banning abortion and that the Constitution does not separate Church and State Most Paul supporters though don't realize he's a social conservative as they are too busy cheering his prodrug plan
I think they mean a personality cult. I don't really hate Ron Paul, personally, but I'm sick of his online fans who insist on posting "Ron Paul '08" everywhere. If you're going to say that, give a fucking reason why that's desirable instead of immediately attacking anyone who shows the slightest sign of disagreeing with him. Of course this only applies to certain Ron Paul supporters who spam comment sections and can't back up what they say.

I hear ya.
If you have any questions, Id be more than happy to elaborate.
But the jist is, I believe he best represents my interests and the interests of the majority of Americans.
Ending these wars, not starting a war with Iran, a strong national defense, restoring the value of the dollar, free trade (withdrawing from NAFTA,CAFTA,WTO), restoring our freedoms and civil liberties, following the Constitution...

They bleat the same way "Ron Paul '08" woo-hoo!
They spam it everywhere.
They type it in ALL CAPS!!!!!
The more they spam, the more delusional they get about The Leader's prospects.
Ain't gonna win the Republican primary, let alone the general.
That's the truth.

He raised more money than any other Republican candidate in this last quarter...6million in one day, average donation 50 dollars.
That translates into votes.
It is very hard to motivate people to vote in the primaries, especially in the republican party right now.
Paul has the support and the votes.
You are also making blanket statements that to not fit the majority of the supporters commenting on this, or many other posts.
