I first came across the idea of recreating dead people from their works in the later chapters of Charles Stross' brilliant Accelerando - although those resimulations were a little more impressive. http://www.antipope.org/charlie/blog-...

    yep it start from talk with simmi then improve to something more complex like human behavior but still if you asked about their new photo they could not show it or they appear in super cg model like life human just like in mgs2 GW commander

    Brilliant. Inevitable... and I'm convinced that the YouTube inane comment quality will be "improved" immensely.

    But, however creepy this might look at first glance, it will be nothing compared to the creep-out factor once Facebook starts to monetize the product. (Have you thought about how your dead mother will sometimes recommend products introduced _after_ she died?)
