I have to agree with Erica Jong on her point about her critics being bothered more by her affirmation as an individual rather than her boundless sexual experiences.
I think to narrate the sexual and emotional experiences is OK, and very liberating. I just don't come to terms with the choice of words to define this sexuality. I'd rather say sex or genitals than the c word. But, again, everyone is different.
