I watched "Beaches" about 50 times years ago. I used to play this song over and over. For me it represents a song of hope. This song is full of spiritual truth. I love Bette Midler. She is a diva. I pray that all people will always have a chance to hear this song.

this could be a wedding song. it is a song about love in all its wonder, pain, joy, and mystery. the rose is always there, the seed that grows into the rose of love. a rose is beautiful and has thorns. love is the same way. if your love is a seed that forever grows then this song might fit.
