Elijah Daramola from Lagos in Nigeria was selected as one of three finalists for the YOUTH BUSINESS INTERNATIONAL ENTREPRENEUR AWARD OF 2008. Elija comes from a very poor rural background but succeeded to study animal science. In 2007 he started a poultry farm and with the sale of eggs he has already enough turn over to employ two people. He is very confident to grow his business substantially in the near future.

  • Before my teenage years, I used to carry up to 5 crates of egg on my head for at least 6 miles to distribute to my mother's customers. I applaud him for the work he's doing.
