if your effects are on high why does it not show the buildings explode? and just wondering but can you MAX the settings out and its playable still?

@TheCrunShow I dunno, maybe the camera was too bad to see it. I recorded this before I found out about high performance settings. After the beta comes back up I'll see how well SC2 runs on these new power settings.

were u using turbo boost mode to get your i7 running at 2.8 ghz?

sc2 is purposely designed to take advantage of the cpu more than the gpu. there are benchmarks out there that show how HUGE of a difference even just 100 MHz makes in performance improvements.
