@sy4hunting Ha. Maybe sometimes dogs just don't feel like the chase. Maybe they associate going out ready to course with "this is what he wants me to do", and when they are just out on an "everyday" type of day, it's "hey, who cares, it's just another hare."
Maybe it's like working mon to fri and having a weekend off . Who knows? lol

@stillbashingmetal good ? ive got simlair thing ive got a 8 month whippet bitch she will course a rabbit for as long as it takes but on sevral times she has put the odd hair up when were walking through the ruff but she wont run them at all even is she is right behind it as it jumps up mad your what .

@PurebredLondon true been there with a whippet and a bull whippet was a mistake well twat of a mate let go of his bull whippet never slip two dogs left my whippet in a mess but she is up and killing again

A The dogs are trained to work with ferrets from a young age-sometimes the rabbit bolts with a ferret hanging on to it , the dogs still dont harm the ferret.
B. All the ferrets wear a locater collar and can be found up to 16ft away

@PurebredLondon The terriers were bushing the rabbits out, the merle bitch was around for 14 years and was never hard mouthed!!!!!
