it would always crank before, but now it wont, i was suspecting the mechanic did something...

thanks, i was worried it might be something worse in the engine, but the truck ran bad, loping and idled way to low, or not enough fuel. i took it to a mechanic and he tried to bs me for hundreds of $, and when i towed it back it hasnt cranked since

@plaugewolf No fuel... Maybe the fuel pump died. Turn the key on and listen for the pump.. If you dont hear it run. that's your issue. Check for power at the fuel pump connector under the truck (Its tucked up under the frame by the tank follow the wires) With the key turned to ON or if you Crank the engine with the key If you have battery voltage at the connector, Its the pump. The FPR wont really cause a No start condition. It might run bad, But it will run,

this video dosent show u taking it apart putinng it together or putting the regulator in all you did was talk for 7 minutes.
