ALL ACCESS :: Tornado Simulator

Tornados cause more than $1 billion in damages and over 80 deaths per year in the United States. One of the main types of damage is building collapse. At Iowa State University we have a tornado simulator which we use to understand the effects of tornados on buildings and other structures. We are working to understand the way that building fail in tornado winds so that we can reinforce them better.
