Well I got the bike a few weeks ago. Holy S@#$ I love these. I love my TTe but these things are awesome. The person I traded with just ordered another one because the cost has come down so much. The stock pinion had to go so I am using my mini-t pinions. Much smoother now. I see what you mean that you need to take it apart to make it run better.

Any suggestions on a good brushed motor?

these were great think the petrol cars were better though they were faster around corners and straights.
